Text Box: August 16
Diane McCarthy a former legislator and currently Director of West Marc (West Maricopa Valley presented issues facing the growing (1 Mil projected) West Valley in the present and future.
Among those issues were the zoning of Buckeye for 161,000 single residences, the abundance of water but nitrate saturated, the need for a buffer to keep Luke as a viable presence, transportation development and freeway expansion to move the residents to work in other areas of Phoenix, and the Vision to have a recreation corridor with 100 miles of trails along the Gila to Lake Pleasant and from the Aqua Fria to New River.

Sgt. At Arms Mike Palumbo asked for donations from all the members who took an enjoyable vacation. His comment was he got plenty of donations and this was somewhat unique.
Congratulations to the Sigler’s on 31st Anniversary
