Text Box: August 30
Dave Hadley introduced Justice of the Peace Quinton Tolby a long time friend and tennis opponent. Judge Tolby started by doing th Police Macarina. He has some spread’um moves. Judge Tolby writes a column for local papers about his experiences on the bench. He told the club about the time he unknowingly married a bigamist and luckily discovered that a smooth talking homeowner who harbored a felon couldn’t resist a high five – in front of a deputy. Tolby was raised in Cashion, attended Tolleson H.S., flew Saberjets in the airforce, was a school board member, council member and mayor in Glendale.
He spent a few minutes discissing the Glendale airport issue and John Longs attempt to get the land donated for the airport to revert for misuse. He was a very pleasant and entertaining guest.
