Text Box: September 13
Marcie a member of the West Valley Fine Arts Counsel presented the growth and development of the Counsels support in helping youth explore and learn to communicate. Almost one quarter of the Counsels budget is for youth programs. They paid students to work with professional artists. It taught the students the worth of art and their own self worth.

The West Valley Arts first program was to celebrate Hispanic tradition. Other events sponsored are:
	Goodyear Jazz Festival	February
	Native American Fetival	January
	Mariachi April
	Phoenix Pop Concert May
	Diamond Ball Fund Raiser
W.V. is building a complex next to the Estrella Mountain C.C. Center of the Arts.
Thanks Marcie.
