Text Box: September 27 Program Ms Loraine Jennas coordination of Cooperative Office Education (C.O.E.) program at Carl Hayden H.S. was introduced by Cathy Fillipone. She discussed the field training on the job as an extension of the classroom. Cathy had one of her students That student has succeeded and is now a medical asst. Students work 15 to 25 hours a week in a paid training program designed with the employer work as the training source. Students under 18 can work in industrial positions through the C.O.E. program. Ms. Jennas introduced C.O.E. coordinator Mrs. Sylvia Yslas of Cesar Chavez H.S. Consider Hiring a C.O. E. Trainee Rotarian Visitors were John Heskett and Harry Fennmore Phx. 100. Leah Roberts a prospective member attended with Rita Hadley.

Dave Seigrest ticket was drawn but he missed the joker.  John Ikard got the next draw.  He missed also.
