Text Box: November 1 Program
Our speaker was Gary Wilson of Phoenix 100. Gary is a member of the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ). The NCCJ promotes understanding and respect among all races, religions and cultures through advocacy, conflict resolution and education. The group sponsors a week long “camp” that includes sessions that challenge youth attendees to address their own biases and become a voice for inclusion and respect in their communities. Gary was an eloquent spokesperson for the group.

Mike Palumbo asked some world series attendees to contribute for their good fortune. Mike Guida, John Baurmeister, and Mike. The president got fined for taking up two parking spots and the immediate past president got fined for handing out his business card. Several members had happy bucks –John Baurmeister for the Dbacks, Alfonso for completing the America West HVAC on time, Mike for his Daughter, Rita for Cesar and Dave successfully hiking a hill and Wilma for ??

Visiting Rotarians: Mike Guida  from the Midtown Club.  Steve Peters of Phx. 100.  Al Demers of Reno Central

Rotarians Making Up:

Remember when our club was number 1 and 2 in 5490 for attendance.  Well we certainly aren’t anymore.  We make a commitment to attend and to make up when we accept the big Gear.  So lets get in Gear and get our attendance up so we can be proud.

Lottery  Our guest drew the lucky numbers for Chuck Tellbeuscher and Rita Hadley.  The pot was $47.
