Ciudad de los Ninos Orphanage

               Our Rotary Club has joined with the Club Rotario in Mazatlan, Mexico to secure a matching grant to benefit Ciudad de los Ninos, an orphanage dedicated to the protection and assistance of children from 4-years to 12 years of age.   Each Club has pledged $1,500 and requested a match from Rotary International that will increase the grant to $6,000 (US dollars).  The grant will be used to install a new water purification system.  Both Clubs will provide labor for this “hands-on” work project.   Work is scheduled to begin the first of the year.  We are waiting on confirmation from RI.
